    I’m using joomla 3.9.25 and the Edu template, the pro version. I want to use the JL Search particle and i don’t know how to sync the search menu item with the particle. If anyone can explain how make the JL Search particle work?

    Hi.
    I have the same problem. The joomla search engine works, but JL Search shows the home page

    Could you please create a search result (menu item) and let me know if it works ?

    The joomla search module has a choice:
    Set ItemID − To display the search result, itemID is assigned by selecting menu item.

    JL Search does not have it 🙁

    How to display search results on a new page in Joomla?

    “Set ItemID − To display the search result, itemID is assigned by selecting menu item.”
    That why you need to create a SEARCH RESULT MENU ITEM to display the search result for the search form particle.
    Take a look https://joomlead.com/g5/docs/search-particle-documentation/ and https://docs.joomla.org/Help39:Menus_Menu_Item_Search_Results
    You can create a hidden menu then add new menu item with menu item type -> Search -> Search Form or Search Result

    Will I get an answer to my question? Please check out the particle demo. The search result is set to the old start page. And adding a subpage as a search engine does not work.

    Open jlsearch.html.twig line 85 replace
    action="{{ gantry.siteUrl() }}/index.php/component/search/"
    with
    action="{{ gantry.siteUrl() }}/index.php?option=com_search&view=search/"
