Core Styles: menu styles

Hi,

I have an new built webstite with the “Green nature pro” template.
I try to change the menu style via option “menu styles”.
But whatever i change nothing happens in the menu…..
Does somebody can help what i am doing wrong.
PS. I have put the menu in navigation and in header via a module-position.
Both options does not work.
