Thanks for getting back to me. Great work on the Particles. They were good back in Sept ’19 when I first subscribed, but the progress is impressive. Especially Menu Canvas – godsend!
I’ve never used EDD, but Phoca Download may be worth a look. I’m always impressed with Jan’s work especially as I think he works solo!

I have passed it on to Jan at Phoca.

dml311071SubscriberHi Tony,
Thanks you for the reply. I did use the hydrogen installer package to compare my pricing tables but just thought I had missed something in the particle when all of the options for title colour and background colours were included on the front and the list was css only.
Sorted now!

dml311071SubscriberHi Tony,
FIXED! It seems that the problem was in the plugin settings for TinyMCE. Joomla Administrator>Extensions>Plugins>TinyMCE then Entity Encoding changed from ‘raw’ to ‘named’
Links now work from Content Grid and HTML tags from the Tiny MCE Editor work fine.

dml311071SubscriberHi Tony,
Thank you for the pointers. I will continue with the Helium theme for this project as it helps me learn some of the deeper levels of Gantry. In fact I had Page Content set up on my default page layout. I’m sure I’ll figure it out using tips from your previous post. But, I was surprised to see that Page Content does not support HTML layout, even basic p and ul, li tags!
So, my only option was to use the Joomla Articles particle, now I suspect that Content Grid cannot link without some work in the lower level code.I m trying to create a lightweight fast site as a basis for future sites based on Gantry that uses the edit features of the Joomla’s articles. I don’t want clients to have to edit particles. Instead it is important that the end user can edit mainly articles.
I’ll check with Hydrogen too in case it is just my mistake.

dml311071SubscriberHi Tony
I have just looked through the files you pointed out and this has helped a great deal. I was almost thinking that I had misunderstood the gantry 5 framework altogether.
It appears that Home Particles has a specific scss rule for the nav menu forcing transparency and pulling the header (and therefore its background image when containing the Owl Carousel) up to sit behind the navigation for non mobile displays.
Thank you for the pointers. BTW I have now purchased the 1 year dev package! Great support

dml311071SubscriberHi Tony,
Correct I working with custom variations on the Helium Template
Yes, thank you, that is enough info for me to figure it out. Basically I am attempting to use JL-Animated-Text within owl carousel and was trying to figure out how to embed one particle within another, if that is possible.
