Are you using latest 2.0.9 version ?
I just tested and its working without any problem. Place your link for e.g: http://example.com

By default, link is show up as Button, you can scroll down to Link field settings, change from button to title or whole item.

then add css class for content grid and article list, e.g: hideme (see https://imgur.com/An5rtym )
Next, open content grid and add hidden attribute like this https://imgur.com/qDsjTbw

It will work like you expect 🙂

Please note: I’m working on Par défaut layout. The CONTAINER from this layout is NOT Inheriting from Base Outline. That why changing from base outline is not effect to PAR Default 🙂
